Doors in Minecraft, whether they be opened or closed, will always align to one edge of the block it is placed in. When a player right clicks on the door, the orientation of the door will be shifted to align with an adjacent edge. This is basically how all door variants in the game work. Sliding Doors Mod (1.21.8, 1.20.1) is here to change that. As the name suggests, this mod introduces sliding doors that are aligned to the center of the blockspace it is placed in and slides to the adjacent blockspace upon opening. These doors also come in a lot of different designs for each of the wood variants in the game.

Changes vanilla door opening behavior.
Adds sliding wooden doors for building decoration.
Doors are center-aligned instead of edge-aligned.
Doors slide into adjacent block space when opened.
Includes 20 door models, available in 11 wood types.
