Social Rating Mod (26.3, 1.20.1) – Know Who to Trust with Player Star Ratings

Social Rating Mod brings a player reputation system to multiplayer servers through star ratings and written reviews. You can rate other players on their ingenuity, skill, and friendliness right inside the game. Everyone’s score or star rating floats above their name so you know who to trust at a glance. The mod also includes a report tool so server operators can remove unfair reviews.

Features:

• Lets you rate other players from 1 to 5 stars for ingenuity, skill, and friendliness.
• You can add written comments, edit your past ratings, or withdraw them whenever you want.
• Shows player ratings right above their names as either a number score or stars.
• Players can report reviews written about themselves and check the moderation decisions.
• Gives server operators tools to check reports and keep or remove reviews with an optional reason.
• Keeps all player ratings separate for each server.

Commands:

• /socialrating: opens a player rating profile.
• /socialrating admin: lets server operators check and handle reported reviews.
• /socialrating admin reload: reloads server settings and language translations.

How to Use:

1. Walk within 6 blocks of another player and aim your crosshair at them.
2. Press R to open the rating menu.
3. Pick your star scores, type an optional comment, and save your review.
4. Press R without aiming at anyone nearby to open your own profile.
5. Open the My ratings section to view or withdraw your reviews, or check My reports to see report updates and moderation decisions.
