Spud’s Shops Mod (1.21.11, 1.20.1) – Create Theft-Proof Player Shops

Spud’s Shops Mod lets you build safe and decorative stores on multiplayer servers. It adds different types of shop displays so players can buy and sell items easily. The mod protects your items from thieves and handles all the payments automatically from the customer’s inventory.

Features:

• Safe Trading: The mod makes your shops unbreakable to anyone except you and server admins.
• Smart Payment: It takes the correct payment items straight from the customer’s inventory when they buy something.
• Setting up what you want to sell does not actually use up your items in the display slots.
• Shops automatically link to the player who places them down.
• Floating icons pop up to warn you if your shop runs out of stock or if the money register is full.
• You can change the wood type of your shop to match your building.
• Players can dye the cushions inside the glass display cases using normal dyes or wool blocks.

Shop Display Types:

• Display Case: A fancy glass box with a soft cushion for your best items.
• Trader’s Crate: A simple wooden box for basic goods.
• Chain Hook: A hook that hangs from the ceiling to hold things like fish.
• Magic Rug: A special carpet that makes your items float in the air.
• Shelves: Wooden boards that can be placed on the top or bottom of a block space.
• Windowsill: A flat stone counter that works great for bakeries.

How to Use:

1. Craft a contract scroll and ask another player to right-click it to sign their name.
2. Take the signed contract back from them.
3. Open your shop menu and place the contract into one of the permission rows.
4. Choose the Owner role if you want them to have full control to edit trades and break the shop.
5. Pick the Manager role so they can manage the inventory and hire lower-ranked workers.
6. Select the Supervisor role if you just want them to manage the items inside.
7. Use the Clerk role if they are only allowed to put new stock in, but never take anything out.
8. Remove their contract from the shop menu at any time to cancel their permissions.
