Myths of the Sea Mod (1.21.1, 1.20.1) – Battle Mythical Sea Monsters

Myths of the Sea Mod fills your oceans and swamps with legendary sea monsters. It gives you new boss fights and rare loot to collect. You can hunt down giant creatures for special materials or find peaceful animals to ride across the water.

Features:

• Tameable Mounts: You can feed raw fish to a Hippocampus to ride it across the ocean.
• Adds six mythical sea creatures to different water biomes.
• Players can find rare items that give special powers, like swimming faster or reaching further.
• Lets you craft new weapons and armor from the monsters you defeat.
• Makes deep oceans dangerous by hiding giant boss monsters in the water.

Ocean Monsters:

• Leviathan: Spawns in cold oceans. It hits hard, moves very fast, and can take out players without armor in one hit.
• Kraken: Hides in deep oceans. It grabs you and drains your health until you deal enough damage to it.
• Bake Kujira: A giant skeleton creature that spawns near coasts and has a long wait time between its attacks.
• Abaia: A small fish in warm oceans that only fights back if you hit it first.

Swamp Monsters:

• Bunyip: Walks on land and swims in water. It attacks anything it sees and hits very fast.

Special Loot:

• Heart of Leviathan gives you extra health hearts until you die.
• Bake Kujira Bones let you craft armor that hides you from undead mobs.
• Kraken’s Tentacle lets you interact with blocks and mobs from three blocks further away.
• Bunyip’s Fang lets you craft fast claws that you can hold in both hands.

How to Play:

1. Find a Hippocampus in a warm ocean biome.
2. Feed it raw fish to tame it so you can ride it over the water.
3. Put an Eye of Hippocampus in a brewing stand to get a one-hour night vision potion.
4. Equip the Tail of Abaia to swim much faster.
