With the Ageing Spawners Mod (1.20.4, 1.19.4), it is possible to set mob spawners such that they fail after a certain number of spawns. Spawners are a type of block that may generate a variety of different creatures, some of which may be hostile while others may be friendly. Players can use spawners to establish mob farms, which allow them to collect more things from the creatures that are spawned by the spawners. You also have the option to make spawners break once a predetermined number of monsters have been produced, which adds another layer of challenge to the game. When whitelist mode is active, the spawner will disappear for all mobs save those on the whitelist. You’ll find the option to whitelist mobs in the Whitelist portion of the menu. In blacklist mode, it works the other way around. Only the spawners that are on the blacklist will remain intact when the server restarts. You’ll find the option to ban mobs in the section labeled “Blacklist.”
