Better Barrels Mod (1.20.1, 1.19.1) introduces just one block into the game. This is a new type of barrel that has some unique properties. Within the game, you will now have two items with the name “Barrel” – The vanilla barrel and the Better Barrel. This new barrel has a slightly different crafting recipe and has only nine slots to store your items. The plus side of the better barrel is that you carry them in your inventory with items inside, like a shulker box. The limiter number of slots of nine well balances this ability, as you still need to obtain shulker boxes for maximum storage capacity. The crafting recipe of the better barrel is given below.
