Enigmatic Legacy Mod (1.20.1, 1.19.2) – Powerful Gear & Ancient Relics

Enigmatic Legacy Mod is a magic themed add-on that leans towards utility rather than combat spells: rings, charms, spellstones and scrolls that each remove one specific piece of friction from a survival world. Because it hangs off the Curios API, everything is worn in its own accessory slot rather than taking a hand or an armour piece. Recipes stay deliberately plain, so the items arrive early enough to matter instead of sitting behind a long grind.

Features:

• Rings and charms slot into Curios accessory slots, so nothing competes with your armour or your hands.
• Spellstones carry elemental effects, covering breathing and moving underwater, control over wind, and short range teleporting.
• Arcane scrolls hold single use effects you can keep in reserve for a bad moment.
• The brewing side adds potion work beyond the vanilla stand, with longer and stronger results.
• New loot is seeded into dungeon chests, which gives old structures a reason to be opened again.
• A set of advancements marks progress through the mod rather than leaving you to guess the order.
• A Patchouli guide book is included, so the item list and its effects are readable in game.
• Curios API, Patchouli and Caelus API are all required, and the mod is Forge only.
• Items sit alongside other magic mods, and the effects stack in ways that make a mixed pack interesting.

How to Use:

1. Install Forge 43.1.0 or newer for Minecraft 1.20.1.
2. Download Curios API, Patchouli and Caelus API. The mod will not start if any of the three is missing.
3. Put every jar into .minecraft/mods and launch the game.
4. Craft the guide book first and read it, since it lists each ring, charm and stone with what it does.
5. Press the Curios key to open the accessory slots, then place a ring or charm into one.
6. Open dungeon and structure chests as you explore. Several of the stronger relics only appear as loot.

Good Old Trinkets:

By the power of Curios API, we have classical representatives of wearable magical stuff – those being Charms and Rings. They will provide you with all sorts of utilitary features… Or, well, not so utilitary.

Spellstones:

But familiar trinkets are not everything this mod has to offer – there’s also new types, with Spellstones being one of them. Scattered all across all worlds and dimensions, they are infused with powerful elemental magic, bestowing it’s bearer powers beyond the human comprehension. Have no fear before the darkest depths of the sea, control the winds with the sole power of your will, exist in multiple places like you don’t freakin’ care about the relativity. No one will dare to stand in your way!

Arcane Scrolls:

All you need to create one – some paper, ink, a feather… Oh, few arcane ingredients might be required, too – they call them arcane scrolls for a reason, after all. But with magical runes inscribed all over them, with mystical energies infused into them, they can offer unmatched power in able hands… Or at least make your everyday life a bit easier to cope with.

Advanced Brewing:

In the newest version, the whole new level of brewing is introduced. You can now create potions of ultimate power, which combine both powerful effect and long duration.

Random Stuff:

Some amout of simply useful items.

New Dungeon Loot:

Almost all existing dungeons got new stuff in their assortment, both from Enigmatic Legacy itself and from vanilla – to give additional purpose and fun to exploration of them.

Few Advancements:

Displaying your progress in the mod and the most significant (or dumb) of your achievements.
