Forever A Child Mod (1.21.8, 1.20.1) allows you to keep baby animals in Minecraft permanently small. The effect is applied using poisonous potatoes—which admittedly looks a bit cruel—but the result is eternally tiny and adorable creatures. To reverse the effect, simply use a bucket of milk, and the animals will gradually start to grow again.

Features:

  • Keep your farm animals perpetually tiny and cute. No more growing into boring, full-sized mobs—they stay youthful forever!
  • Feeding a poisonous potato to a baby animal locks its age, preventing it from growing. It’s a strange but oddly magical mechanic.
  • Want your animal to grow up eventually? Use a bucket of milk to reverse the effect. After drinking, they’ll begin aging again like normal.
  • Animals affected by the mod may have subtle visual cues to indicate their permanent child status.
  • Breed small animals as usual—new offspring will start as babies and can be kept small with the same method.
  • Adds a touch of whimsy to your gameplay. May include config settings to enable/disable certain behaviors.
