Minor Integrations and Additions Mod (1.12.2) is a mod primarily focusing on adding new integrations and improvements between mods, as well as adding some new features. Some of them include: new recipes (mostly for crafting stations and machines using items and blocks from other mods), new JEI categories, adding entries to JER, as well as several other integrations, improvements, and fixes.

Features:

Music Player:

  • The Music Player is a completely new item, unrelated to any mods. It allows you to conveniently store and play your favorite records for yourself.
  • It can store a limitless amount of records, although it doesn’t allow for duplicates. The current songs is displayed in the top slot. It does have features such as autoplaying next songs, repeating the current one, or randomizing the next song. It does have keybinds that you can use to operate it outside of the GUI.

Orechid Vacuam:

  • Orechid Vacuam is an End version of the existing Orechid and Orechid Ignem. It does have a sizeable list of supported ores (assuming they have correct Ore Dictionary entries set up).
  • Similarly to Orechid Ignem, it requires more mana to operate, although the cost is bigger than Orechid Ignem itself too (not by much, though). And similarly to the original 2 Orechids, it needs to be in the correct dimension – the End. It does have similar recipe to original ones, requiring only slight change to the petals used, and same as the other 2, it does have floating version.

Void Creator:

  • Void Creator is a Thaumcraft machine, available only when Wuss Mode is enabled in the config.
  • The main goal it’s trying to accomplish is allowing to obtain 2 of items that are very unreliable to obtain with Wuss Mode – Void Seeds and Primordial Pearl. Since it’s only meant for Wuss Mode, it won’t be obtainable, it won’t be possible to research, and it just won’t work with it disabled.
  • For this machine to work, the chunk it’s placed in must have more Flux than Vis, as well as enough Flux to maintain the production. While working it will slowly drain Flux out of the chunk so you’ll need to make sure you have enough. After enough time has passed, which might be sped up by luck, it’ll produce a single Void Seed. Over time it’ll produce more, and it can hold an entire stack of them before they’ll need to be extracted. It does have another trait, though – each time a seed is created, there is a chance it’ll be turned into Primordial Pearl. The chance increases the more seeds are there currently in the Void Creator, and all of them will be destroyed in the process.
  • It’s using the same model as Void Siphon, although it doesn’t have the same fancy effect.

Pixie Dust Collector:

  • Pixie Dust Collector, an addition to your Ice and Fire collection, helping you with automation of Pixie Dust collection. You cannot automate extraction out of place Pixie Jars in the world, which this collector helps you overcome, as well as it lets you store up to 9 Pixies in a single block, and use other items capable of capturing Pixies, like Morbs (Thermal Expansion), Lassos (Extra Utilities), and Animal nets (Hatchery).

Egg Sorter:

  • Egg sorter is an addition for Hatchery, but requires Chickens mod (and optionally More Chickens) to fully benefit from it. It lets you put a single type of egg into it, and it will keep the ones with best stats inside, while allowing for removal of the ones that weren’t good enough.
  • It tries to match the egg to each of the 3 storage slots, each one prioritizing different stat – going from top to bottom, they are (in order): Growth, Gain, Strength. If the main stat that’s compared is the same, the total of all stats is compared.

Jei Integrations:

  • Random loot items/loot bags: Mods that add items or blocks which give a random reward for the player now include their own JEI category. Some mods that include this integration are: Dungeon Tactics, Extra Botany, Thaumcraft. (Dungeon Tactics also requires Just Enough Resources to show the bag loot)
  • Alchemical Cauldron (Dungeon Tactics): Alchemical Cauldron previously required you to read through the Dungeonpedia books to learn what you can do with them. Not anymore!
  • More information tab entries: Several items and blocks include information tab entries with, for example, instructions to obtaining or using them.

Jer Integrations:

  • Several new entries from several mods have been added for Just Enough Resources, including mob drops, plant drops, and dungeon loot.

The One Probe Integrations:

  • The One Probe includes progress bar for several different things:
    • Ice and Fire – Dragonforge progress
    • Ice and Fire – Dragon & Myrmex egg hatching progress
    • Ice and Fire – Pixie Jar progress until ambrosia drop ready
    • Thaumcraft – Vis Battery charge value
    • Thaumcraft – Void Siphon progress
    • Thaumcraft – Vis Generator charge meter
    • Thaumcraft – Brain in a Jar current XP meter
    • Mo’ Creatures – egg hatching progress
    • Harvestcraft – progress bar and processing speed meter for Apiary, Ground Trap, Water Trap
    • Harvestcraft – progress bar for Presser, Grinder, Water Filter

Quark:

  • Quark, besides adding many recipes to other mods also includes 2 other integrations that’s more unique to it. Those are:
  • Enchantments supporting modded items are now displaying them, similarly to vanilla ones. This is made for convenience, as similarly to recipes, it could be easily added yourself.
More ancient tomes for enchantments that support them. Similarly to recipes, it could easily be added yourself. However, the benefit of this is that every ancient tome added by this mod was tested to work. Any enchantment that would not benefit from additional level was simply skipped.
  • Additionally, there are also recipes added (currently only) to Thermal Expansion, making those Ancient tomes craftable. This is done only to enchantments that already have recipe in Thermal Expansion, and the recipe requires a maximum level enchanted book, entire stack of base ingredient (based on max stack size), and 10 buckets worth of Essence of Knowledge.

Dungeon Tactics:

  • The addition to Dungeon Tactics is quite simple. It adds new items and blocks to the loot bags added by DT from different mods. This makes it more convenient as it doesn’t require making a resource pack to change the loot tables, nor using other mods to modify them manually.
  • Those items are added in a way that makes sense, so lumberjack bag is going to receive new logs and saplings, ore bag is going to receive new ores, and food bag is going to receive new food. The difficulty of obtaining those items and blocks was taken into consideration, making the ones that are harder to obtain more rare in those bags.
  • It’s possible to check what each bag can give you in the new JEI category, however, it requires JER to also be installed. This is done because there’s no simple way to lookup all items in a loot bag (which JER provides an easy way to do so).

Minor Integrations:

  • This mod includes several minor integrations that might not be worth writing a separate pages for each one of them, so they are listed here.
    • Mo’ Creatures – using silver weapons from other mods will be at least as effective as Mo’ Creatures silver sword. This change was made as it seems to multiply base damage for the material, even though swords have higher damage than base, which resulted in lower than expected damage.
    • Hatchery – you can put chickens into the pens using items different than the animal nets – currently supported ones are lassos from ExtraUtilities.
    • Recycling recipes – recipes for recycling tools, weapons, and armor were added to several modded items. This is similar to vanilla functionality, where you can smelt iron and golden items into nuggets.
    • Ore Dictionary – items from several mods had Ore Dictionary entries added for those that previously didn’t have any, making it so they’re compatible with recipes that use Ore Dictionary instead of directly looking up the items themselves.
    • Ore Dictionary recipes – several new recipes using ore dictionary have been added, making them possible to craft using items and blocks from other mods besides the one they come from.
    • Cooked meat drop from burning mobs – animals and other creatures from several mods, like Mo’ Creatures, only dropped uncooked meat when killed while they were on fire. This mod changes this so they’ll be closer to vanilla animals in this aspect.

Generic Integrations:

  • Several of the mods that received integrations had a lot of recipes added to them, or more specifically, their crafting stations/machines. These can be disabled, and have been made as a way Listing every single recipe added to them might not be a wise idea, so here’s a list of all mods that have received some some sort of new recipes.
    • Botania – more Orechid and Orechid Ignem supported ores (might receive more in the future)
    • Future MC – blast furnace, smoker, campfire
    • Harvestcraft – marked, shipping bin, presses (not much yet, will receive more in the future)
    • Hatchery – shredder
    • Tinkers Construct – melting items
    • Thermal Expansion – significant amount of the machines received new recipes (including recycling, growing, and many more)
    • Extra Utilities – significant amount of the machines received new recipes (especially generators)
