Sulfur Cubes Mod (26.2) – Craft Portable Workstations and Explosive Traps
Sulfur Cubes Mod expands what you can do with sulfur blocks in the game. It allows these cubes to absorb many different blocks and take on their special powers. You can turn them into glowing lamps, dangerous traps, or even portable crafting stations. The mod adds fun new interactions that give you more reasons to collect and play with sulfur cubes.
Features:
Special Cube Types:
- Explosive Upgrades: TNT sulfur cubes trigger their fuse instantly on a direct hit, and larger cubes create much bigger explosions.
- Light Sources: Cubes that absorb glowing blocks like Sea Lanterns or Froglights emit real light into your world.
- Cactus cubes deal damage to anything that touches them and hurt enemies who punch them.
- Redstone cubes act as an active power source, sending a redstone signal in all six directions.
Workstation & Utility Cubes:
- Cubes can absorb crafting tables, anvils, and looms so you can use them as portable workstations.
- Players can right-click a workstation cube to open its menu.
- Other blocks like Sponges, Powdered Snow, and Copper Bulbs also work with the cubes.
Ghast Cubes:
- Sulfur cubes can absorb a Dried Ghast item.
- Dropping a ghast cube into water hydrates it and spawns a baby Happy Ghast inside.
- The cube acts as a clear shell that grows along with the baby ghast.
- You can use shears on the cube to free the adult ghast and collect a giant tier 4 sulfur cube.
