Many do not know, but The Mimic is a popular horror game that is available on Roblox. Even if you have never heard of it (like us), you should still install [FANMADE] The Mimic: Lanterns & Demons Addon (1.19) in Minecraft. The addon adds the monsters and their respective lanterns from the Roblox horror game The Mimic into Minecraft. This is a fan-made project and in no way involved with the actual game. Actual mimic developers. If you’re seeing this and you don’t want me doing this let me know and this addon is getting thrown away faster than Sama in chapter four. It makes it easier to organize when it’s angry and bold. It will be pretty boring to talk about it, so you better watch the preview.

Features:

Warning: This addon includes loud noises and jumpscares.

Using commands in chat:

  • Using the command in the screenshot, you can remove the screamers of a specific mob
  • The function must be written by the player or command block

Installing add-ons on maps:

  • In addition to the installation, below there is also the map itself, where you can try out the addon.

    • Disappear after interaction

All of these features will be ported to all other monsters in time, but as for now we’re slowly going through things.

 

Futakuchi-onna

  • Found in the Book of Jealousy (Book II, Chapter I)
  • First expansion monster
  • Inspired by the Japanese legend of the woman with two mouths
  • Spawns around the world at night

The mob will chase you and the song from the original game will play. The monster will not rest until it kills the player after a piercing scream. The mob can be killed by feeding them pufferfish or poisonous potatoes.

Hyakume

  • Spawn: swamps

Chisinau

  • Spawn: jungle

Kiyoki

  • Spawn: jungle

Spirit Lantern

  • This lantern unlike the others has dynamic lighting. This lantern does not need to be manually turned on.
  • NOTE: To be transparent, when the lantern is off all light blocks around you are cleared. If you plan to use this lantern in maps please keep this in mind.
