Snowy Weather Mod (26.1.1, 1.20.1) – Global Permanent Snowy World

Snowy Weather Mod turns the entire world into a permanent winter. All biomes become cold enough for snow, including normally hot biomes such as deserts. Rain and thunderstorms are fully replaced by snowfall, and water freezes everywhere. The only places unaffected are underground areas like caves, or other dimensions.

Features:

• Snow replaces rain and thunderstorms in all biomes
• All biome temperatures are forced below 0
• Water freezes everywhere in the Overworld
• Snow appears in every biome, including deserts
• Newly generated chunks are instantly frozen
• Existing chunks generated before installation:
  • Will gradually freeze over time
• Removing the mod:
  • Biomes return to their original state
  • Existing snow and ice blocks remain in the world

How to use:

• Install the mod into your world or server
• Weather changes will automatically apply
• No manual activation is required for basic functionality

Configs (Optional Functions):

• Unlimited Snow Accumulation
  • • Removes the snow layer height limit
    • When snow reaches level 8, it converts into a full snow block
  • Applies around players within an 8-block radius
  • May impact performance on large worlds or servers

• Enable the function:
  • /function snowy_weather:unlimited_snow_accumulation_height
• Disable the function:
  • /schedule clear snowy_weather:unlimited_snow_accumulation_height
