Texture Locale Redirector Mod (1.21.11, 1.20.1) is a Minecraft Java mod that extends the game’s resource loading mechanism to support multilingual textures in resource packs. The mod allows you to place textures in different languages ​​within the same resource pack, and Minecraft will automatically redirect to the texture appropriate for the language being used in the game. This solves the problem where textures containing text/symbols for one language might be annoying or inappropriate for players using another language.

Features:

  • Allows resource packs containing textures to be categorized by language, for example, assets/<namespace>/textures/zh_cn/… for Simplified Chinese and assets/<namespace>/textures/ja_jp/… for Japanese.   • The cache is cleared when changing languages ​​or reloading resources, ensuring textures are updated immediately according to the new settings.
  • When a resource pack does not contain a texture folder for a specific language, the mod will ignore it and use normal textures, avoiding unnecessary scanning and processing.
