Arcforge Mod brings heat, Forge Energy, and heavy steel machines into your world. You start with simple single-block generators and work your way up to giant multiblock factory plants. Heat flows naturally from hot blocks to cold ones, and hotter machines make more power. Every machine also connects with pipes and cables from other energy mods.

Arcforge Mod

Features:

  • Connected Heat and Power: Runs on both Forge Energy (FE) and heat units (HU), where hotter temperatures turn into electricity with better output.
  • Multiblock Arrays: Upgrades every single-block processing machine into a 3x3x3 multiblock with three parallel lanes that run faster on less power.
  • Machine Wrench: Rotates blocks, adjusts pipes, checks multiblock builds, and picks up machines while keeping their items and settings inside.
  • Lets you set up every side of a machine, tank, or cell to control where items, fluids, and power enter or leave.
  • Adds speed, energy, and heat upgrades for machines, plus insulation upgrades to slow down heat loss in cells.
  • Includes three redstone control modes and works with redstone comparators to read fill levels from tanks and cells.
  • Brings a full Treated Wood building set, furnace bricks, brick walls, and storage blocks for steel and coal coke.
  • Uses data-driven fuels and recipes so modpacks and datapacks can add custom items.

Power and Heat Machines:

  • Combustion Plant: Burns coal straight into FE for simple early power.
  • Firebox and Fuel Burner: Burn solid fuels or liquid fuels like creosote to produce heat.
  • Geothermal Plant: Pulls heat from lava stored in its tank and from touching lava or magma blocks.
  • Thermoelectric Plant: Turns heat into FE and pushes past 100% output when running hot enough.

Steel and Processing Machines:

  • Carbonizer: Multiblock coke oven with up to 8 chambers that bakes coal into coal coke and collects creosote.
  • Arcforge Furnace: Towering 3x3x6 brick multiblock that burns coal coke past 1,200°C to smelt iron and coke into steel and slag.
  • Arc Crusher: Crushes ores into dusts with bonus drops, while its multiblock array doubles ore yield.
  • Induction Furnace: Smelts standard furnace recipes using FE instead of solid fuel.
  • Metal Press: Shapes steel into plates, gears, and rods using swappable, reusable dies.
  • Fiberizer and Infuser: Spin slag and basalt into Slag Wool and Rock Wool, or soak wood in creosote to make Treated Wood.

Pipes and Storage:

  • Four Upgrade Tiers: Offers Wrought, Tempered, Hardened, and Arcforged tiers for pipes, tanks, and cells.
  • Conduits: Move energy, items, fluids, and heat, featuring clear glass pipes that show moving items and glowing active lines.
  • Fluid Tanks: Glow with the liquid inside and keep their stored fluids when picked up with the wrench.
  • Energy and Heat Cells: Store from 500,000 FE up to 256 million FE, or hold heat with slower leakage at higher tiers.

Configuration:

  • config/arcforge-common.toml: Tunes heat and FE rates, buffer sizes, temperatures, burn speeds, output rates, and multiblock limits.
