Hostility Level (Hostile)
A blaze is a hostile mob. The term mob is short for mobile and is used to refer to all living, moving creatures in the game such as chickens, creepers, and blazes. Because a blaze is a hostile mob, it will attack you in Survival mode but not Creative mode.
Health Points
In Minecraft, a blaze has 10 hearts
for health. This gives a blaze 20 health points (because 1 heart = 2 health points). To kill a blaze, you need to inflict 20 points of damage to the blaze.
Where to Find Blazes
In Minecraft, you can find blazes in the Nether.

If you haven’t been to the Nether, you need to build a nether portal to take you to the Nether. When you walk through a nether portal, it will transport you between the Overworld and the Nether. This is what a nether portal looks like:

Blazes are created from a blaze spawner in the Nether fortress.

If you are having trouble finding a blaze, you can also summon a blaze using a cheat or you can use a spawn egg.
Weapon
A blaze does not carry a weapon.
Attack Method
In Minecraft, a blaze will launch fireballs at you when it attacks. It can also set itself on fire and attack you directly.
Drops
When you kill a blaze in Minecraft, it will drop a blaze rod.

Make sure you pick up any dropped items before they disappear. They are useful and should be kept in your inventory to be used later.
Experience Points
As you play the game, you will gain experience. The most common way to gain experience is by killing mobs. When a mob is killed you will see tiny green and yellow balls appear and move towards you.

These orbs represent experience points. When you kill a blaze, you will gain 10 experience points.
Spawn Egg for Blaze
